Show all images on one page This box shows a lady on the bank of Neva river in St. Petersburg who is guessing on a daisy "...loves? ...doesn`t love?"
Each side is decorated.The scene is painted in blue and green oils mixed with aluminum powder. Mother-of-pearl shines through the water, the moon in the skies and the dress. The box is constructed from paper-mache. Traditionally, the box's interior is covered with red lacquer. On the lid's interior there is also written in gold the title of the work, Fedoskino, Knyazev Sergey and the year of 2014. |
