Main characters from "The Tale of Tsar Saltan, of His Son the Renowned and Mighty Bogatyr Prince Gvidon Saltanovich, and of the Beautiful Princess-Swan" fairy-tale by Aleksandr Sergeyevich Pushkin. Sides of the box are decorated with detailed patterns and images. Mother-of-pearl-inlays and gold leaf are used in various parts of the composition.
The box is constructed of paper-mache, interior is painted in white lacquer. It is signed in gold, Fedoskino 2024.
