 Show all images on one page"The Snow Queen" is a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story centers on the struggle between good and evil as experienced by Gerda and her friend, Kai.
Sides of the box are decorated with detailed pictures and patterns. Mother-of-pearl-inlays and gold leaf are used in various parts of the composition. Mother-of-pearl piece is attached to the lid in form of a mirror.
The box is constructed of paper-mache, interior is covered with lacquer. It is signed in gold, Fedoskino 2022.                       |
