Paradise birds bring happiness on their wings. They fly to those who have kind and pure heart. Orchid symbolizes exactly that.
All sides of the box are decorated with flower patterns painted in gold and silver. Mother-of-pearl inlays shine through different parts of the composition with variety of colours. Bird`s tail made of mother-of-pearl serves as a little handle for opening the lid.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Traditionally, the box's interior is covered with red lacquer. On the lid's interior there is also written in gold the title of the work, Fedoskino, Knyazev Sergey and the year of 2016.
