Gerda is a heroine of "The Snow Queen" fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersen. A little girl was brave and kind enough to overcome  any dangers and to do anything for her friends. With their help and gifts she has reached the Snow Queen`s palace and saved her love Kai. Ice and snow could not stand against Gerda`s kind and loving heart.
The composition on the box`s lid is full of decorative details with mother-of-pearl inlays. To the left is symbolic Kai`s melting rose, to the right Gerda`s rose which is full of colour and life. The box`s lid can be opened with the help of heart-shaped ice-blue Swarovsky crystal.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Traditionally, the box's interior is covered with red lacquer. On the lid's interior there is also written in gold the title of the work, Fedoskino, Knyazev Sergey and the year of 2016.
