Popular russian fairy-tale returns to us every year before Christmas. Snowmaiden is a beautiful daughter of Father Frost. She is not a human being but wants to live with people and to know what love is.
The most part of the composition shines with mother-of-pearl inlays set into different parts of the scene. The box's exterior is fully decorated. The box's lid can be opened with the help of a blue Swarovski crystal attached to the lid's side.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Traditionally, the box's interior is covered with red lacquer. On the lid's interior I have also written in gold the title of the work, Fedoskino, Knyazev Sergey and the year of 2014.
