This is Rivendell, an Elven town from epic fantasy novel "The Lord of the Rings" by J. R. R. Tolkien. The peaceful, sheltered town of Rivendell was the place where fhe council was held and Fellowship of the Ring started their adventure.
Sides of the box are decorated with detailed pictures and patterns in elven style. Mother-of-pearl-inlays and gold leaf are used in various parts of the composition. Swarowski crystal is attached to the lid.
The box is constructed of paper-mache, interior is covered with lacquer. Ir is signed in gold, Fedoskino 2020.
